About Us: A Jackson Agent Who Plans Around Your Dates
Selling a house, settling an inherited property, selling during a divorce or buying the next place all come down to dates. We build each one around a schedule you can plan on, agree when we will check in, and explain any change as soon as we hear of it.
How we work, from the first call
Most people who call us already have a date in mind. A lease ending, an estate that needs settling, a court deadline, a new job starting. We begin there. Before anything else, we map the sale or purchase backward from that date and tell you plainly which parts are in our hands and which are not, such as escrow, the appraisal, a lender's review or a probate court calendar.
Meetings happen at our office or by phone and video, at times we agree on together. If we say we will call Tuesday afternoon with an update, we call Tuesday afternoon, even when the update is that nothing has moved yet. When an inspection result or a title question pushes a date, you hear it from us as soon as we learn it, along with our honest read on the new schedule.
We keep the practice small on purpose, so the person who sets your timeline is the person who picks up when you call. That matters most in the slower, more delicate work we handle, like inherited and probate houses and divorce home sales, where several people need the same information at the same moment and a missed message can cost weeks.
What you can count on
A timeline in writing
At the start, you get a written schedule of the steps ahead with a realistic range for each. Ranges, not hopeful single dates, because escrow and court calendars rarely run to the day.
Updates on a rhythm you choose
We agree up front on how often you want to hear from us, weekly or at each milestone, and whether by phone or video. You should never have to chase us for news.
Changes explained, not buried
When a date slips, we tell you why, what it affects further down the line and what your options are for getting back on track. Then we update the written schedule so it stays accurate.
Everyone hears the same thing
For co-owners, heirs or separating spouses, we can share updates with all parties at once. Nobody gets a different version secondhand.
Who we work with
We work with people in Jackson and in Sutter Creek, Ione, Pine Grove, San Andreas, Rancho Calaveras and Buckhorn. A lot of each sale is handled by phone and video, so an heir in another state or a seller who has already relocated can keep up with every step without coming back again and again.
